FAQ / Guidelines

Read This Before Posting

This forum exists to learn, share, and grow your cybersecurity skills. We value quality, effort, and clarity.

Low-effort posts will be removed.

What to Post

Good posts include:

  • clear background (who you are, experience level),

  • a specific goal or problem,

  • code, or examples of the challenge.

  • what you’ve already tried,

  • and a precise question.

Example (good):

“I’m a software engineer learning web exploitation. I’ve completed PortSwigger labs up to SQLi but don’t understand blind SQLi in exercise a/b/c. Can someone explain the reasoning process? So far I’ve tried x/y/z, screenshot below.”

Example (bad):

“Can someone help me get into hacking?”

Dear Clarkee,

I have a few questions:

  • Who owns this forum?

  • Who are the founders of this forum?

  • How long has this forum existed?

  • Anybody here related to darkc0de forum ? (I meant this one : Wayback Machine )

Suggestion: It would be great if there were a dedicated thread where the founders could introduce themselves, sharing details such as their roles, specializations, GitHub profiles, or any other non-sensitive information.

My thoughts on the forum: What captured my attention and motivated me to join was the domain name; I noticed it includes a null-terminating string, which is a very clever touch.
